Enjoying the good Life After Retirement
What I have been up to recently:
fter all, once an artist and art dealer, always an artist and art dealer!
When I'm not in my studio, you'll likely find me exploring America's back roads in my RV, photographing national parks, discovering unusual places, or traveling internationally in search of art, culture, and inspiration. My adventures have taken me across Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, and most recently Mexico, where colorful streets, historic architecture, vibrant arts communities, and unforgettable people continue to influence my paintings and photography. Along the way, I'm documenting these journeys through fine art photography, travel writing, and my ongoing memoir, Between Storms and Sunrises — Solo Gay Travels, blending LGBTQ+ experiences, personal storytelling, humor, and reflections on a life dedicated to artistic expression. Whether exploring contemporary art galleries abroad or photographing forgotten corners of small-town America, I remain fascinated by the people, places, and stories that make our world so wonderfully unpredictable.
From my home base in West Palm Beach, Florida, I continue my journey as a contemporary Florida artist, creating and offering original paintings, fine art prints, collectible artwork, wearable art, and artist-designed merchandise to art lovers and collectors everywhere. Visitors looking to buy original paintings online, discover distinctive contemporary art, or explore original wearable art and clothing can find an ever-evolving selection of my creative work. Whether I'm holding a paintbrush, standing behind a camera, stepping in front of one, discovering an emerging artist, or negotiating the purchase of another piece of art I probably don't need but absolutely must have, my curiosity and creative spirit remain as restless as ever. Retirement, I've discovered, isn't about doing less—it's about having the freedom to do more of what I love, on my own terms. And apparently, I have absolutely no intention of slowing down anytime soon!
